Levine’s Strengths
One of the things I enjoy doing is studying celebrities and identifying key strengths. When media has asked me to comment on celebrity relationships however, I try to do my homework first.
I have learned that stardom, in the lasting sense, does not happen by mere happenstance. In fact when we study celebrities, we quickly learn that the ability to be successful in the competitive, brutal world in which they live requires major focus, long hours and an iron stomach for potential rejection. For example, how many celebrities have we heard of who were “considered” for a part, only to be passed over?
Let’s look at Levine’s past for clues to the present and assess two key strengths.

Adam Levine’s past
While it may be hard to imagine, Levine wasn’t always a star. The Los Angeles born singer appears to have had a childhood that wasn’t easy. His parents divorced when he was seven and he grew up spending weekdays with his mother and weekends with his father, according to an interview appearing online (Jewish Chronicle). An admitted extrovert, he shares that he was “terribly shy as a child”.
He also used different drugs during his younger years, including hallucinogens like mushrooms, according to an article in the Belfast Telegraph. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he revealed that he stopped taking drugs after a bad experience with the prescription drug, Ambien, where he lost consciousness for an hour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]
Two Strengths
Learning from mistakes
One of the obvious strengths that we can gleam from Levine’s past is his ability to “stick” to his intended goals. Despite his challenging childhood, the star knew early on that he enjoyed music and singing. Rather than being a victim of circumstances, he leaned into his attachment to music and made something happen.
One other strength that Levine possesses is his ability to learn from his mistakes. This star has a long dating history, which is well chronicled in the tabloid press. A few of the famous women he has been romantically connected to include pop star Jessica Simpson and tennis player, Maria Sharapova, according to the Mail Online.

Dating Apology
In an interview appearing in Us Weekly, Levine publically apologized to his ex-girlfriends for how he treated them. While specifics regarding what he has apologized for are hard to find, one can imagine the olive tree branch was extended, in part, because of the ongoing need to focus on his career. In Levine’s world, one can imagine that it is perpetually, lights … camera …action.
The here and now
Adam Levine is set to walk down the aisle on July 19. Barring any last minute surprises, he will be married in Los Cabos, Mexico at the luxurious Hotel El Ganzo, according to E-Online.
