Staff Therapist – Couples Specialist
Location: Lakeview, Chicago (Hybrid/Mostly Remote) |

About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist who is genuinely passionate about couples work—not just capable of it, but energized by it. You’ll join our collaborative team of 8 clinicians and work primarily with couples, along with some individual clients. We provide robust marketing support and diverse referral sources to help you build a thriving caseload of 20-25 clients per week.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality couples therapy for relationship conflict, communication issues, infidelity, premarital counseling, and “Couples Therapy for One”
- Work with individual clients as part of a diverse caseload
- Deliver LGBTQ-affirming care (experience with LGBTQ+ community is essential)
- Utilize an integrative therapeutic approach (Gottman and EFT training is a plus)
- Collaborate with a supportive team of experienced therapists
- Build your caseload with our marketing and referral support
What We’re Looking For
✓ Required
- Licensed or provisionally licensed in Illinois (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, LP, ALMFT, LPC, etc.)
- Strong experience working with couples (we want someone passionate about couples therapy!)
- Demonstrated experience providing LGBTQ-affirming therapy
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
★ Preferred
- Training in Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or other evidence-based couples modalities
- Integrative therapeutic approach
- Fully licensed (vs. provisionally licensed)
💰 Compensation & Benefits
💵 Pay: $50-65/hour (W-2 Employee)
